Overview
A guide to the GREENAIQ™ proprietary and 3rd-Party methodologies used by the GAIQ™ platform for sustainability reporting and ESG management, including ACID Data Integrity, BHWCF Data KM Kitchen™, G EGG™, DMA, ISAE 3000, ISO 31000 Risk Management, Kanban, KISS, MDCRP™, TMA™, and SOX methodologies.
ACID 3rd-Party Best Practice Database Data Management Methodology
Ensures data Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, and Durability. Borrowed from database theory, ACID ensures ESG transactions are reliable. A report update is either fully committed or not at all, preventing "corrupt" or partial compliance states during high volume data cycles.
BHWCF Data KM KITCHEN™ Methodology
The BHWCF™ (Boiling-Hot-Warm-Cold-Freezing) framework is a GREENAIQ™ proprietary 5-tier data management architecture optimized for AI-driven RAG Knowledge Management systems.
From BOILING session cache to FREEZING archive data, your ESG information lives in a 5-star kitchen where every ingredient has the perfect temperature.
BHWCF™ reduces the perceived high energy & water usage issues associated with AI systems, by significantly reducing the C02 carbon footprint and resource usage of GAIQ™, through optimized data storage and management.
Jointly developed with BAIQ™, our AI development partner, BHWCF DATA KM kITCHEN™ can be deployed, or extended, as a separate solution to manage non-esg data.
DMA 3rd-Party Best Practice ESG Double Materiality Assessment Methodology
The DMA is the cornerstone of the leading CSRD/ESRS sustainability standards framework. It evaluates ESG topics through two lenses: Impact Materiality (inside-out) and Financial Materiality (outside-in), identifying the core ESG topics where an organization has significant risk or influence.
GREEN EGG TEST™ GREENAIQ Proprietary Methodology
Free to use ESG project viability scoring protocol, hatched out of the GREEN EGG CLUB™. Uses a 10-point diagnostic methodology to assess ESG project feasibility. It rewards existing businesses, or new projects, with good green ideas, evaluating ecological integrity, governance, GHG alpha, social value, economic strategy, execution readiness, team commitment, local support, and any existing project status.
ISAE 3000 3rd-Party Best Practice Auditing Methodology
International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000 is the global standard for assurance over non-financial information. The GAIQ™ platform aligns data provenance and evidence linking with ISAE 3000 requirements to ensure reports are "Audit Ready" for external verification.
ISO 31000 3rd-Party Best Practice Risk Management Methodology
The international standard for risk management. We integrate ISO 31000 principles into the materiality and GAP analysis modules to ensure sustainability risks are managed with the same rigor as operational risks.
KISS 3rd-Party Best Practice Design and Development Methodology
Keep It Simple, Stupid is our adopted GAIQ™ platform user experience (UX) and development philosophy for ESG complexity. Despite the thousands of pages of regulation, GREENAIQ™ uses the KISS methodology to distill complex requirements into actionable "Tasks" and "Gaps" for non-expert users.
KANBAN 3rd-Party Best Practice Project Management Methodology
The task management backbone of the GREENAIQ TEAM™ module. The KANBAN methodology allows for the visual orchestration of MDCRP™ tasks, ensuring that datapoints flow through the lifecycle from "Assigned" to "Audited" without bottlenecks.
Provides visual boards, WIP limits, and pull systems delivers essential project management (PM) like task tracking and bottleneck spotting with minimal overhead, unlike other more complex PM systems like Scrum's ceremonies or Waterfall's phases, KANBAN evolves existing workflows, suiting teams wanting to avoid full PM apps.
Core Features:
- Visualize workflow: Use simple boards (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done) to map tasks like features, or track support issues.
- Limit WIP: Cap items per stage to prevent overload and boost focus.
- Manage flow: Track lead time and throughput for predictable delivery.
These integrate via drag-and-drop UI, APIs, or embeds without complexity.
Bring your own licence (BYOL) options are available for clients wishing to use their own PM app, subject to its compatibility with the GAIQ™ platform.
MDCRP™ GREENAIQ Proprietary Methodology
The primary framework governing how ESG data is captured, versioned, and verified in the GAIQ™ platform. MDCRP™ ensures that every datapoint follows a linear progression, from M Materiality Stage 1, to P Publishing Stage 5, maintaining regulatory compliance integrity, and delivering audit-ready ESG reports.
See MDCRP™ User GuideSOX Controls 3rd-Party Best Practice Governance Methodology
The Sarbanes-Oxley Internal (SOX) Controls, while originally used for internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), are applied in the GAIQ™ platform as SOX style executive controls over ESG data. This ensures separation of duties, ownership of datapoints, and strict approval hierarchies for all public disclosures.
The GAIQ™ platform also has an alternative "Light Touch" executive control option for smaller organizations, which is a simplified version of SOX, and enables single sign-offs.
TMA™ GREENAIQ Proprietary Methodology
The TMA™ methodology is architecturally distinct from the established double materiality assessment (DMA), and goes significantly beyond what any ESG standards framework currently requires. TMA™ adds a 3rd strategic axis to a DMA, to discover where ESG creates or destroys value in a business, and the related risks.
TMA™ = DMA + Triple Materiality Assessment + ESG Strategy & Business Alignment.
The TMA™ MODELLING app can be used for strategic, financial risk, and ROI modelling.
Ideal for executives, boards, and ESG finance leads.
